Frequently Asked Questions

What types of services do you offer?

I'm open to all types of projects!

Some examples of recent projects I've completed include replacing dishwashers, mounting TVs, replacing exterior doors, upgrading vanity tops, replacing rotted siding trim, installing storm doors, servicing sliding patio doors, installing plank flooring, replacing outlets, installing baby gates, installing a front porch railing, drywall repair, and many other things.

My previous construction experience includes areas such as framing, finish carpentry, flooring (especially LVP / SPC), siding, windows, doors, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, drywall, painting, insulation, and more.

Do you guarantee your work?

I guarantee my workmanship for at least 3 months on all projects. If anything I installed or repaired doesn’t hold up due to my work, I’ll fix it.

For larger or higher-value projects, the guarantee is extended to 6 months, covering the same workmanship standard. This ensures you have extra peace of mind on more complex jobs.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! Burke Builds LLC is a licensed Dwelling Contractor (license #3241-DCFR), with General Liability insurance. Certificate of Insurance is available upon request.

What are your rates?

Rates vary depending on the type of service and the scope of the project. I'm happy to provide a free estimate for any job. If I'm performing service, I typically have a minimum charge of $150.

About Me

About Me

Hey there! My name's Devin Burke. Before I started my own business, I worked in the non-profit sector. For several years, I worked hands-on with volunteers as a Construction Site Supervisor with Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Minnesota, leading volunteers in building affordable homes for families in need. I also spent several years working in disaster response and recovery around the U.S. and internationally with All Hands & Hearts / All Hands Volunteers, cleaning up after natural disasters, and repairing and rebuilding homes and schools damaged in hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes.
